HHACompliance.Com - Virtual Office Management for Home Health Care Agencies
Frequently-Asked-Questions

If we use HHACompliance.com's on-line software to manage confidential patient records, how do we know the information is secure?
Its hard to believe that data transmission on the Web can be just as secure as transmission on the computer network in your office. But it is - and here's why:
HHACompliance.com employs 128-bit encryption for your electronic communications - the strongest possible security available. An unauthorized user would have to attempt over 100 billion computer key combinations to gain unauthorized access to the HHACompliance.com database system.
Encrypted transactions use a combination of private keys, public keys, secret keys, "hash" functions, and digital certificates to achieve authentication, confidentiality, message integrity, and non-repudiation of either party. HHACompliance.com uses the "SuperCert" encryption certificate issued by Thawte, an internet security-software company. A copy of the certificate is available to subscribers on request.

We're already using another home health care software that we spent a lot of money on. Why should we use HHACompliance.com?
Our software provides many more features than typical HHA office management software. Our software is a compliance program - designed to keep you current with HCFA, JCAHO, CHAP, OSHA, FDA, DOT, and ADA regulations and standards. We provide the typical payroll/billing/patient-care reports package - plus - all of the forms, reports, and manuals for regulatory and accreditation compliance. And because we're on-line, we can update our program instantly to satisfy any changes in federal regulations and accreditation standards - a feature your expensive stand-alone system simply isn't capable of. Our system is so affordable, you can use the HHACompliance.com Site for forms, reports, manuals, benchmarking and compliance data, and still use your current system for its current functions. You always have the ability to run payroll, billing, HCFA485s, etc through HHACompliance.com whenever you want.

To read all of the text on the screen, I'm always using my scroll bar to move from side-to-side and up-and-down. Most of the text seems hidden.
You just need to change some settings in your computer's Control Panel. Go to My Computer, then to Control Panel, then to Display, then to Settings. Make sure your screen area is set at a minimum of 800 x 600 pixels.

When I get on-line with HHACompliance.com, it seems like it takes forever for the screens to load, and to add data into the database.
The speed by which you're able to move from screen to screen on the HHACompliance.com Site - or any Website for that matter - is primarily dependent on your local Internet Service Provider (ISP). It helps if 1) your modem is at least 56k - or - even better - 2) you have cable or a DSL line. To find out if there is DSL (digital subscriber line) or cable modem service in your area, go here: http://www.dslreports.com/search. If you use a DSL or cable modem to communicate with the HHACompliance.com website, we strongly advise that you install Internet firewall software on your computer to enhance security.
